Kingsley Primary School has additionally resourced provision for pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder/Social Communication difficulties. We have 23 places across the school from Reception to Year 6 and 2 nursery assessment places which are allocated to 4 children - two in nursery am and 2 in nursery pm. The level of support provided through these places is very individualised and is allocated taking into account the needs of the whole child and their specific areas of difficulty.
Each year in the Reception intake we offer 3 additionally resourced places on top of the 60 mainstream allocated places.
All additionally resourced places are agreed with the local authority and they are reviewed annually with the SEND team.
