Extra Musical Provisions
We provide a range of opportunities for children to learn to play a variety of instruments (based on age and availability).
(Other opportunities can become available for Key Stage 2 in Violin, trumpet, cornet and guitar)
We have recently employed a specialist teacher to run an after school guitar lessons for KS2 children.
For KS1 and KS2, Jamie Blackwood provides additional music sessions for children as part of their music lessons. Each child in Year 1, 2 and 3 is given the opportunity to be part of these sessions across the academic year. Jamie teaches children how to play a range of instruments and increases children's confidence in performance. Here are some photos of the sessions:
