‘Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone's responsibility. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families has a role to play. In order to fulfil this responsibility effectively, all practitioners should make sure their approach is child-centred. This means that they should consider, at all times, what is in the best interests of the child.'

School Uniform

Kingsley Primary School believes that a flexible school uniform policy is vital to promote the ethos of our school. It provides a sense of belonging and identity for all pupils, regardless of their protected characteristics or socio-economic circumstances.

All our uniform is generic and no branded items are compulsory. Our Uniform Policy is flexible to meet the needs of all our children in school.

Support and help for parents, via our pastoral team, is available on a daily basis to purchase uniform or utilise our extensive supply of new and second-hand uniform.

We believe that pupils learn most effectively and achieve their best outcomes when they are comfortable, able to be themselves, and dressed in such a way that sets an appropriate tone for education.

Sweaters, cardigans, fleeces, coats and `T` shirts embroidered with the school badge can be ordered at the school office or via the website www.studentuniform.co.uk/kps012 These are not compulsory and uniform can be purchased from any shop or supplier.

More information regarding our school uniform can be found in our School Uniform Policy found in the 'policies' section of the website.
