Parent Partnership

We encourage and expect close working partnerships between parents and school staff to ensure that all individual needs are being met. At all times we consult and involve parents in discussions and decisions about the individual support package for their child. We acknowledge and draw on parents’ knowledge and expertise in relation to their own child.

Where appropriate children are encouraged to take an increasingly active role in their graduated response support plan and review cycle. These plans are discussed with parents at the start of each term during a designated SEND parents evening. All Parents are actively encouraged to be involved in their children’s education and are welcome into school to discuss any concerns on a daily basis.

There is a monthly parents at Kingsley support session which is open to all parents of pupils with SEND and this provides opportunities to discuss concerns, meet other parents and share knowledge and experience.

Any queries can be discussed with the school SENDCO Mrs Barrass or the pastoral team Jill Sherwood or Linda Craig.

Please contact the school SEND department by telephone or email:
