Balance bike sessions

All chn in reception received two balance bike sessions led by specialist coach.

  • Children gained confidence on balance bikes
  • Children were highlighted for extra intervention sessions
  • Concerns were noted for children who struggled with gross motor skills.
  • Staff CPD and improved confidence to deliver on the school’s balance bikes at a later date.

Additional balance bike sessions (small focus group)

20% of the reception cohort received additional lessons.
