Children in school during lock down

During school closure some of our children have no other option than to come into school. While here, the adults are planning a number of fun activities that the children (and the adults) will enjoy. This page will be used to celebrate and share what the children in school have been up to.
The children have been doing lots of activities in school. They have been making models out of boxes, designing and creating their own t-shirts and spent lots of time outside playing games as well as lots of other activities.
The EYFS group of children made rainbow clouds with cotton wool and coloured card and they had a fabulous time making the. Don't they look amazing!?

During our week at school, we made paper mache heads of ourselves. First we took a balloon each and glued newspaper onto it. Next we moulded our eyes, mouth and nose and later we painted it. Finally, we coloured the eyes, nose and mouth and made wool for the hair!

This week the children have had a great time outside in the sunshine. They have done some gardening in our raised flowerbeds, created windmills, played dodgeball, played with the parachute, completed an assault courses and lots of other activities.

Mrs Nicholson found herself a friend to have a cup of tea with.
The children have been doing a few activities whilst inside of school too. They have created birthday cards for Captain Tom Moore, played table tennis, made their own pizzas and done lots of other craft activities. It looks like this week has been a fabulous week!

The children have been exploring movement using glow sticks in a dark classroom. I am sure you will agree it looks amazing!

Some of the staff made their own glow in the dark music video after school too.
