  • Stray Aid

    Our school council have decided their new project is to help Stray Aid. After Easter, we will be collecting old towels, bedding and dog food that will make the lives of the cats and dogs in stray aid a little more comfortable.

  • Table Tennis Tournament

    On Tuesday the 13th of March four boys and four girls attended Dyke House school for a table tennis tournament. They played against 6 different schools from across the town. The competition was tough for both boys and girls. Luckily, they finished first. Which means they can progress to represent Hartlepool in another tournament later in the year.

  • School Open - Monday 5th March 2018

    School will definitely re-open on Monday 5th March.  

    The council have cleared the ploughed snow off the paths on Kingsley Avenue and school paths have all been cleared and gritted. Please note that parking in the rec may be difficult.

  • We are intending on opening on Monday 5th March

    We are intending to open as normal on Monday 5th March.

     

    Along Kingsley Ave the road has been cleared. We have spoken to the council to see if they can also clear the paths along there but at the moment they are understandably prioritising roads. It may be difficult to park along Kingsley Ave or in the rec car park on Monday morning. We will send an update on the state of the roads on Sunday afternoon.

  • School closed - 2nd March 2018

    After consultation with governors and the local authority, due to the continuing weather conditions and particularly the situation on Kingsley Ave we have made the decision to close school again tomorrow- Friday 2nd March. Sorry for any inconvenience but the safety of pupils, parents and staff is paramount.
