  • Confirmed Covid Case - Friday 13th November

    Fri 13 Nov 2020
    Dear Parents/Carers,
We have been informed today of another positive case in school. Again it is unrelated to the other cases. This case only affects Y2 Mr Henderson's class. Parents have been contacted this morning by telephone, where possible. All other classes -that are not isolating - can return to school on Monday, after our deep clean.
    Thank you

  • School Closure - School will be closed on Friday 13th November and will re-open on Monday 16th of November.

    Thu 12 Nov 2020

    Dear Parent/Carer

I know many of you are anxious because we have had 4 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the last few days.

I have discussed the situation today with Public Health and they have agreed there is no evidence of transmission between the cases in school.

However, we have agreed - as an added precaution - we will close tomorrow and undertake a deep clean of the whole school.

I hope this will further reassure parents at this difficult time.

We will open as normal on Monday to all the children who are not isolating. Children will bring home some work today that they can complete tomorrow.

Thank you for your continued support.

    Yours sincerely
    Mrs Darby
    Headteacher

  • Updated information on new Covid-19 confirmed case

    Wed 11 Nov 2020
    Dear Parents/Carers,
Unfortunately after school today we received notification  of another confirmed case of Covid 19. This case only affects  Miss Flanagan's Y6 class. Parents have been contacted this evening and the bubble need to isolate until Monday 23rd November. I understand parents will be anxious but these cases are all separate. School continues as normal for all other pupils. I will be discussing the cases further with Public Health tomorrow and we will take any necessary action.
I know this is a difficult and worrying time for everyone but I hope we can continue to work together to support the children as best we can.
    Thank you
    Mrs Darby

  • Further Confirmed Covid-19 Case

    Tue 10 Nov 2020
    Dear Parents/Carers,
We have been informed today of a third positive Covid case linked to school. This case only affects Y4 Mrs Johnson's class. We have telephoned parents tonight and affected children and staff will isolate until Friday 20th November.
I want to reassure parents that there is no link between the 3 positive cases and following discussions with the affected people the cases appear to have originated from links outside of school.
If you have any questions or concerns please speak to a member of leadership on the gate or give us a call.
    Thank you
    Mrs Darby.
