Over the past few weeks, your children have accessed TTRS a lot more. We have made positive developments in school to provide more opportunities for them and many of you have established effective routines at home to get them playing often. As a result, progress has accelerated.
To further improve this, we need to work together to understand and eradicate the barriers that are preventing some children from accessing TTRS at home. If you are struggling to establish a routine at home for TTRS (for whatever reason), please access our support:
Over the next week (14.6.21 - 21.6.21), we will be tracking the amount of time each child spends playing on the 'Garage' game in TTRS. We would like this to be a minimum of 3 minutes per day (research proves that a little bit every day is the most effective way of learning times tables). We will provide feedback on the results of this in the coming weeks.
Well done to those who have experienced success with this - the hard work is worth it! We are looking forward to hearing from those who are struggling so, together, we can make this possible for all of your children!
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask your child's teacher or Mr. Robinson (I'm on the school gate most mornings and on the yard at home time).
Thank you!
The Kingsley Maths Team.
