  • Consultation Period for the reduction of admission numbers

    As Admissions Authority for Kingsley Primary School, the Local Authority is required by the School Admissions Code 2021 to consult on a reduction of the published admission number for 2025/2026 academic year (entry into Reception).  The proposed reduction is 55 (from 60).  An application to also vary the Reception admission number will also be sought (for 2023/24 and 2024/25 academic years).  This proposal will also be to reduce to 55 (from 60).

     

    The capacity of the school building is the sole factor in requesting to reduce the admission number due to the unsuitability of the school in relation to the number of children within the school with high level of need and consequently space required.

     

    The consultation period will run from 13/11/23 to 25/12/23.

  • Flu Immunisations

    Immunisations will take place on Wednesday the 11th of October.

    Please complete by Wednesday 4th October 2023 if you would like your child to receive the flu vaccination. If you do not wish your child to take part, please ensure you complete the form to withdraw your child.

  • Return to school

    We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Tuesday. Please remember our new times; 

    Rec/Year1/Year 2 start at 8.55am and finish at 3.25pm

     

    Years 3/4/5/6 start at 9.00am and finish at 3.30.pm. 

     

    Morning nursery and 2 yr olds 8.30am till 11.30am. 

     

    Afternoon nursery 12.15pm till 3.15pm. Gates will be open from 8.30am as usual. 

     

    Also we asked each child to bring a water bottle (with a sports cap), a box of tissues and a pritt stick if possible.

  • Kingsley Fest

    The Friends of Kingsley Primary School invite you to Kingsley Fest, this Saturday 24th June 10am-2pm.

     

    There will be various activities, some free and some for a small cost, throughout the day. The event is a cashless event except for business stalls and buying tokens on entry.

    £1 per token and most chargeable activities are 1 token. 

    Cash or card are accepted.  

     

    Activities include: DJ Disco, tombola, raffle, coconut shy, popcorn, hotdogs, slushies, cake stall, bric-a-brac etc.

    We also have visits from the Fire Service, Hartlepool Ambulance Charity, Hartlepool United's H'Angus and Pikachu, Vanguard Medieval re-enactment, and performances from various dance schools and choirs. 

    Come along for a fun day with us!

    Just a reminder that today (Friday 28th April) is non uniform day to help raise funds to replace lost and damaged reading books in school. We are asking for a donation of £1 that children can bring into school this morning.

  • World Book Day 2023

    We will be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 2nd of March in school. Children can come into school in non-uniform. This can be anything that they feel comfortable in even their pyjamas if they wish!

     

    We are asking for donations towards school funds.
