Welcome to the Nurture Room
From
Mrs Oram and Mrs Cooper
We enjoyed listening to the story 'The Rainbow Fish' and participating in various activities related to the book. We created our own clay fish and decorated it using sequins, explored painting in different ways and also used our fine motor skills to decorate a fish using buttons.
We were given the county Spain to support during the Euro football season. We celebrated this by making a large flag and tasted yummy Spanish food!
We enjoy baking with our friends in the Nurture room. We have baked biscuits and cakes so far alongside enjoying an ice cream!
We enjoy spending time outside in the warm weather and exercising our muscles on the gym equipment.
We enjoy participating in social time activities. Here we are enjoying toast and a chat with our friends.
We enjoyed listening to the story 'Shark in the Park' and created our very own telescopes. We used these to find objects in the classroom which look like shark fins just like Timothy Pope did in the story!
To celebrate Pancake day the children made their own pancakes. They enjoyed picking their own topping and they all enjoyed eating them.
We celebrated Chinese New Year by completing a range of activities such as, painting, collaging, tasting food and doing a dragon dance to Chinese music.
