  School will definitely re-open on Monday 5th March.  

  The council have cleared the ploughed snow off the paths on Kingsley Avenue and school paths have all been cleared and gritted. Please note that parking in the rec may be difficult.

• We are intending on opening on Monday 5th March

  We are intending to open as normal on Monday 5th March.

   

  Along Kingsley Ave the road has been cleared. We have spoken to the council to see if they can also clear the paths along there but at the moment they are understandably prioritising roads. It may be difficult to park along Kingsley Ave or in the rec car park on Monday morning. We will send an update on the state of the roads on Sunday afternoon.

  After consultation with governors and the local authority, due to the continuing weather conditions and particularly the situation on Kingsley Ave we have made the decision to close school again tomorrow- Friday 2nd March. Sorry for any inconvenience but the safety of pupils, parents and staff is paramount.

• Christmas Fair - Thursday 30th November 3.30 - 6pm!

  This year we are doing things differently and merging our very well established Coffee Morning with our Christmas Fair.

   

  As well as Christmas craft stalls there will also be a number of the well loved stalls at the fair. Such as tombola, cakes, toys and books and of course coffee and cake in the dining room.

   

  The children are busy making Christmas items that will go on sale at the fair.

   

  Santa will be in his grotto at the fair and their will be an opportunity for your child to have their photograph taken with Santa and the prints will be available to buy.

   

  Come along and make a start on your Christmas shopping and support your school at the same time!

  Barvember is here!

   

  Barvember has been organised to encourage everyone to use the bar model. We believe that the bar model is a useful tool for helping children visualise and then solve maths problems. Even some of the most complex problems can be seen much easier when represented visually.
